The event takes place at Frank Brown Park, 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway. Bring your family and friends for a long weekend of all things automotive, with music, food and fun all in high gear.
This year’s event, presented by Simon Property Group, is expected to draw more than 3,000 cars from across the country. You’ll see the best in hot rods; classic, custom and muscle cars; street rods; and competition vehicles from far and wide.
Billed as a “Blast from the Past,” Emerald Coast Cruizin’ features cool car parades, Cruizin’ for Cash events and Swap and Meets, where you’ll find everything from hubcaps to headlights and unique auto accessories.
Bring a chair and watch the all-star parade of cars down Front Beach Road, Fri., 5:00 p.m. Or pick up a ride of your own at the Auto Auction, Sat., starting 10:00 a.m.
For classic family fun, head to the children’s area, where young ones can delight in the remote-control Nascar racetrack, a bounce house and more. Another Emerald Coast Cruizin’ favorite is the Burnout Contest. With the audience as judge, crowd participation determines the winner. If you’re proud of your ride, here’s your chance to show it off in style. For full-throttle fun, the $40 advance or $45 day-of-show entrance fee covers the kick-off welcome party and admission to nightly events at local resorts and area businesses. Registrants also will parade their rides through Panama City Beach in the Cruise for the Cash event, visiting local hot spots to gain eligibility for cash prize drawings.
