Shoppers Get Gift of Holiday Cheer at Holly Fair in Panama City Beach, Fla.
‘Best of Bay’ Shopping Extravaganza Raises Thousands for Charity
Panama City Beach, Fla. (Oct. 30, 2007) – Attention shoppers: the premier event of the holiday season is back and better than ever in Panama City Beach, Fla. The 19th annual Holly Fair, Nov. 9 – 11, features unique gifts, scrumptious treats and holiday delights for the entire family.
Voted “Best of Bay,” Holly Fair takes place at the Boardwalk Beach Resort & Conference Center, 9450 South Thomas Drive, in the heart of Panama City Beach. As one of the largest holiday events on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the three-day shopping extravaganza draws 14,000 visitors and more than 75 merchants from across the country.
The Boardwalk Conference Center will dazzle with traditional and delightfully different gifts. This year’s event will treat shoppers to a journey back in time. Come and see local choirs, dance groups and musical ensembles pay tribute to the “Silver Screen Santa,” spotlighting the sights and sounds of Old Hollywood.
Because everything about Hollywood is bigger and brighter, this year’s Holly Fair promises more unique gifts and specialty items than ever before. Visitors will find treasures for everyone on their list, from jewelry and one-of-a-kind gifts to holiday decorations, boutique apparel and home décor. The sweet scents of freshly baked Christmas cookies, hot chocolate and savory treats will add to the holiday cheer.
Holly Fair promotes the spirit of giving, as the signature fundraiser for the Junior Service League of Panama City. Last year’s event raised $205,000 for support programs and charitable organizations throughout Bay County, providing new clothing to more than 1,500 children in district schools.
General admission to Holly Fair is $5.00 for adults and free for children 12 and under, with all proceeds to benefit Bay County community projects, grants and educational programs.
